Snug Harbor on the Sacramento Delta - June 5-8, 2003

There were two trailers there.  The Maxitear and 1956 Pleasurecraft owned by Sara & Valerie.  They brought their godchild Robert.  Joan & Wendy brought the boat and stayed in one of the "Snuggle Inns" along with Wendy's children, Tyler & Kendall.

It may have been a small gathering, but we definitely had a great time.  It was good to get to know one another in a more casual setting.

As you will see in the photos, Carolyn caught fish...the first time in her life that she's owned a fishing license (since January) and this trip was the most successful to date.  There were so many fish caught, she lost track of the numbers!  :)  The only drawback was that they were all too small to keep (Stripers have to be 18" and ours were about 12-14")...but the memories are priceless...

We are looking forward to another visit to Snug Harbor soon.  This time we hope they will keep the fans off...we had steady 20-25mph winds with gusts about 50-60mph at times all weekend.  At least is was cooler than the 95-100 degree heat in Bakersfield all weekend!

Happy Trails & Enjoy the pictures...
