- It finally has cooled down enough to allow some work to get done. I have
the storage bins complete. As you can see, there's a lot of storage room
in these bins. I continue to amaze myself in the amount of room this
trailer is going to have in such a little space. Now, on to bigger and better
things. The cabinets and closet space are the next item to get
built. Hopefully, I'll have time tomorrow to get a good start on
them. Until then, "a river dirty" (arrivederci) Can you tell,
I'm practicing my travel speechifying?!?!?! Watch out - here we come!!!

9/11/01 - So sorry I have not posted any pictures of my progress in the last weeks. I have not had any time to devote to my trailer except to gather parts and pieces. Those include the refrigerator, air conditioner, vents, sink, and most of all the cedar 1x6 tongue & groove lumber to wrap the frame. I've been doing a lot of designing as I go - LOTS OF SURPRISES TO COME, keep checking back. Today I had time and we were able to get a good part of the day devoted to working on the trailer.

I used GymSeal High Gloss Floor Finish for the interior of the trunk. The interior of the trailer has been stained and finished with a polyurethane finish...I am very happy with the amount of storage in the trunk and throughout the trailer.
We've
started up the back! The hardest part is done on the back curvature.
As you can see from the pics, it looks like a barrel from the outside...I'm
soooooooo happy with it so far! The color we chose to stain it is very
light and it will add a lot of class to the interior when it is all done.
Now we're starting up the front and will finish off the day with major progress
being completed today. I hope to keep up the momentum.

I want to share with you my shower. I created this with an old ice cream bucket and as you can see by the photos, I added a galvanized bottom, flap and weighted pull to operate this highly technical work. As my wife has stated more than once, "It is the greatest 3 gallon shower I've ever taken!"

9/14/01 - We've continued to get a little work done every day this week. Here's the results...the holes for the windows are in and, as you can see, it is starting to take shape! I'm VERY happy with it!!!

Guess I'll have to go to the next page.....
