Once again, mother nature dealt her blow to our get together.  We arrived on Wednesday afternoon having driven over the Grapevine in rain and even a little snow.  No matter, Carolyn went fishing that afternoon and caught one fish and put it back for another rainy day.  On Thursday, it threatened rain off and on all day.  Harvey & Dave (Hanson Love Bug), Ed (Layton with Bob & Nikki) and Kevin (2005 "vintage" Airstream) showed up.  No rain on Thursday to speak of.  Friday was another story.  It sprinkled off and on.  Most folks arrived to a pretty dry campground (except Mike, Bob & Cindy).  Got all set up and on Friday night it let loose.  Thank goodness we were all in trailers, most of which didn't leak.  Saturday morning we got up to a beautiful April Fools day.  The only problem left behind was the mud and olives.  Bob & Cindy realized that pulling in after dark wasn't the best thing as they backed into a hole and were atilt in their trailer all night.  After a day of relaxation and visiting, we had a lot of fun at the potluck.  Again, there was too much great food.  We all walked away with full tummies.  One thing that we did a little different (and will be instigating at the next gatherings), is Karen Abbey (www.itsmybagembroidery.com) donated several items and we had a give away.  We put each of the trailers in on a piece of paper and had Taylor and Maddie draw for the prizes.  That's where the hats came from in the photos. Another night of campfires and a lot of stories. 

We cherish these gatherings and hope that we can keep up the good times with all of our special friends.
