Join us next to the Kern River.

Rivernook Campground is one of our favorite places to stay because it has one of the best fishing holes in southern California. The campsites next to the river have water, electric and cable hook-ups and just across the way there are several full hook-ups with sewer as well.

As always, you are responsible to make your own reservations. So, make your reservations early. When you call to make reservations (760) 376-2705, make sure you tell them you are with the Maxitear group (they may know about it, then again, they may not - just tell them you're with the old trailer group). The sites without sewer hook-ups are $40 for two people and the full hook-ups are $45 for two people. Additional people are $2/each and if you bring your pet, there's an additional charge too.

We will not have any organized activities, but make sure to bring your fishing gear and you might just catch one of those pretty trout that are just waiting for a frying pan!

WE WILL HAVE A POTLUCK ON SATURDAY LATE AFTERNOON (somewhere around 4:30pm). SO COME PREPARED (there's a full service grocery store within a mile of the campground). There's also several restaurants, antique stores and junk stores close by.

Trick or Treating and Halloween party(ies) will happen on Saturday night after the potluck...bring your costumes and candy...Jerry & Carolyn will be by to collect our bounty. ARGH!!!!
